Gray Matters is the mixture of four individuals, each with their own gray matter, style and personality but all stubborn in their wish to always bring something new to the table, whether the table is in the club, the rehearsal room or the studio.

Their music can be defined as a permanent quest for ways to express moods through music. That's why the end result is always changing, always defined by a different way to carefully merge sounds, like a musical palette that covers a wide spectrum of sounds and emotions. In other words, Gray Matters brings together on the same canvas four distinct elements, with their individual influences and personalities, in order to prove that black and white aren't the only things that matter. In between there are all sorts of shades of gray bridging the gap between two opposites: electronic music and rock music.

The band, currently working on their first EP, was formed in the beginning of 2014, when all four members: Laura (vocals), Cata (drums), Mihai (Bass) and Babu (guitar, synth/samples); started working together on their sound, which could be defined as electro-alternative rock, a fresh way to blend electronic rock with alternative and metal.

For the balcony they prepared an acoustic version their song Ten, coloured by Sergiu "Corbu" Boldor on violin.
