Graven Image

Graven Image exploded onto the Nor Cal local scene in early 2005. Since there induction, Graven Image has proven time and time again, that they will smash through all obstacles that stand before them. Having weathered the storm early, GI has endured several line-up changes, bullshit managers, and con-artists all trying to get a piece of the pie. Hailing from Sacramento, CA., Graven Image is determined to showcase their brutality on stages across the world.



This quartet is comprised of diverse musicians with a passion for heavy and extreme music. Influenced by everything from radio friendly to the underground, Graven Image stamps their name on it all. Their riffs; punishing, their grooves; breathtaking, a serene musicianship that blows your mind and leaves you wanting more.



Like good whisky, GI continues to get better with age. They have accomplished so much over the past few years, from 98 Rock's "Featured Band of the Month", to sustaining airplay on Capital Chaos Television for their debut music video "Hands Around Your Neck". Graven Image continues to push forth with big plans for '09. Their plans include the release and distribution of their new e.p. across the west coast followed by some touring of that region. So, keep an eye out for these boys, they're a band you don't want to miss.
