An Inner Sunset Sundays live music performance. The Ruth Asawa San Francisco School Of The Arts Orchestra, directed by Matthew Cmiel. Russian Dance (Trepak) movement of The Nutcracker Suite by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and movement IV. Allegro non Troppo of Symphony No. 5 by Dmitri Shostakovich.

Inner Sunset Sundays are grassroots-organized community street events that take place in San Francisco's Inner Sunset neighborhood (Irving Street is closed between 9th and 10th Avenues). The events build community, celebrate our local talent and culture, and highlight the use of public space for gathering and civic life. Typically 3,000 people attended events.

The Ruth Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts (SOTA) is a public, tuition-free, visual and performing arts high school dedicated to providing students with an alternative educational program that fosters artistic development and creativity.
Since the founding of the school in 1982, SOTA has admitted students selected by audition from all over San Francisco and the Bay Area.
With a population of approximately 600 students, SOTA's pre-professional programs engage students in a curriculum that combines academics with art instruction.
