Here the Operatic Tenor dons a black hoodie to represent Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom.

WaterFire, started in Providence, RI and with an estimated over thirty thousand people in attendance, is beginning to be a popular event in Kansas City. Already, in its third year, WaterFire KC draws a quarter of the audience the Thanksgiving tradition, 78 year old Plaza Lighting Ceremony draws.

Nathan Granner is best known for his involvement with "The American Tenors" album and tour. The album charted at #5 on Billboard Magazine's Crossover/Classical Chart and was performed on PBS.

Other highlights as a performer include: appearances in premiere, lead and title roles at Wolf Trap Opera, Opera Theater St. Louis, Lyric Opera of Kansas City and Pittsburgh Opera Center; solo performances with the National Symphony Orchestra, Baltimore Orchestra; and with collaborator, guitarist - Beau Bledsoe, Nathan Granner 2006-7 concerts were attended by over 33,000 people in over 13 cities promoting the album "Departure."

Current Projects:

"Wee Small Hours"

A post-modern interpretation of Frank Sinatra's music, this project will be premiered at Kansas City's The Hemingway Gallery for three performances during the first or second week of January.

"The Gospel of Judas"

A full length opera, created by Nathan Granner and Jeremy Ruckma and starring Nathan Granner in the Title role. The Opera is scheduled for premiere in 2011 or 2010 and has been partially funded by a grant from Escape to Create in Seaside, Florida.

"CD of Hymns"

An ongoing work in progress, arranged by Brad Cox and performed by Nathan Granner and various instrumentalists.
