GORT

The blasphemous spell started in 2002 by the will of Wolf and Lord Lemory as a studio band. Only in 2004, with Einherjar Ingvar as drummer, the band line-up is completed. "We Declare Destruction" demotape is the only release before the entering of Obscuritatis Daemonium as bassplayer with Lord Lemory only on vocals (the demo obtained many good reviews and Fenriz of Darkthrone mentioned Gort as one of the best realities into italian Black Metal scene (the interview is avaible on the Italian magazine Grind Zone - April 2006 issue). By this moment the band published two demotapes in 2006 ("Dissipatio Humani Generis" and ".These are the True Fucking Gort!!!") a split album with Tyrantz Empire and Zanthicus in 2007 and the debut album "Sixth Day's Cancer" for The Oath Records in 2008. In the same year Obscuritatis Daemonium left the band after three years of collaboration and M.D.(ma) replaced her. With this new line-up Gort recorded three new tracks for the split album with Umbra Noctis and then published on spring 2010 for the bands' own labels (Novecento Produzioni & Neapolis Niger). Due to personal reasons M.D.(ma) left the band and Gore Mageddon was hired as replacement. Even Gore Mageddon leaved the band for personal reasons and Vinz take his place during spring 2011. The band is now working to complete the songs that will appear on their next releases.
