(ENG) BAND BIO ;
NEFERTUM was born with the purpose of creating open-minded black metal, influenced by the "new school of black metal" bands like Arcturus or Emperor, trying to create a personal attitude and a recognisible style in their music. NEFERTUM comes from the south of Italy, where Mediterranean sounds mix with Celtic, hence creating a unique and millenary music culture. The band moved from their first steps producing "Demo(n)" ; a free downloadable demo that,though its low production quality , has been well accepted by the Italian critics due to its the main musical purpose.
After "Demo(n)" they decided to concentrate their forces on the first full-length album "Revered Lames" that will contain also new versions of the "Demo(n)" tracks. Revered Lames has been produced by the hands of 16th Cellar Studios in Rome and Uruk-hai's Omnia Malis studios. They have played live with bands like Dark Tranquillity, Dismember, Finntroll, Malevolent Creation, Vomitory and the Italian Necrodeath and Stormlord. Nefertum's logo is from the "lord of logos" Christophe Szpajdel (Emperor, Borknagar)

I Nefertum nascono nel 2003 con l'idea di proporre un Symphonic black metal molto aperto alle più disparate influenze avantgarde, death, thash,
folk per cercare di creare una propria personalità, ispirandosi a maestri come Emperor, Arcturus, Dimmu Borgir, e dal metal estremo in genere. Il loro primo full-lenght Revered Lames è stato prodotto da Stefano "Saul Morabito" dei 16th Cellar studios insieme agli Omnia Malis studio di MIchele "Uruk-hai" Pocchiari e curato da Manuel "Ishan" Bravi nella parte grafica e pubblicato dall'etichetta inglese Uk Division records.
Tra i loro live più rilevanti i Nefertum hanno supportato bands come Dismember e Dark Tranquillity, Finntroll, Malevolent Creation e Vomitory oltre agli italiani Necrodeath e Stormlord oltre ai vari live che stanno promuovendo Revered Lames. Infine il loro logo è stato realizzato dal famoso artista "lord of logos" Christophe Szpajdel (autore anche per Emperor e Borknagar tra i più famosi)
