Track info; Launching his Particles career from "Behind The Moon", Mikhail Akulich's EP under his Michael A production pseudonym, built upon established successes throughout 2013. With a raft of original work signed to Balkan Connection, Stellar Fountain and 3rd Avenue, the Ukrainian's prolific output leads him back to Particles once more where "Behind The Moon Pt. 2" sees a trio of remixes from three different continents. From Melbourne, Victoria, Gavin Griffin has cut an impressive figure in the underground dance scene with his GMJ production moniker. Already well-versed in the music scene, headline events internationally and locally has seen the Australian reach an audience of thousands with DJ appearances alongside the industry's finest. Moreover, production work began to stir the passions of labels and followers alike as music for Open, Vapour and Stripped Digital created loyal support. Working with some of the finest modern producers, Dousk, Jamie Stevens and Tvardovsky have all been responsible for remixing the GMJ sound. Launching a Particles career with his acclaimed "Edge of Remembrance" EP in May 2014, the GMJ remix of "Behind The Moon" is a sublime offering centred around a deep bass groove and the central tenets of Michael A's original work. A rolling percussive groove drives effortlessly onwards accompanied by a dizzyingly panned and filtered bass, while pads swim against a sea of emotive melody. Newcomer to the progressive house scene, Romanian, Marius Ene, operating out of the Bucharest capital, has hit the ground running with his first original material. Signing the twin-track "Out of the Night" EP to Solarstone's "music vs art" Molecule imprint with AandR headed up by Proton regular, Nick Stoynoff, Marius' skill and craft were immediately evident upon its release at the beginning of 2014. With second track "Alter Ego" subsequently licensed to Black Hole, a recent remix of Ioan Gamboa's "Niernes" represents a delicious Particles debut for Ene. Now remixing Michael A the Marius Ene remix of "Future" provides a dark edged interpretation that catches the light through strong percussive groove seeing hats and shakers roll ever forwards as pulsating bass and pads punctuate the rhythmic interplay raising the tension in impressive fashion. The final offering of the three falls to Canadian, Dustin Nantais. Operating out of Ontario, the Toronto resident has been involved in the music industry in a variety of guises from an early age. Gravitating towards dance music, Nantais quickly graduated to DJ'ing alongside former idols at Beba, Hotel and ComfortZone with a "big and deep sound". A production career that began in 2012 has seen a plethora of original material on such labels as Mystery Train, Trojan Horse and MNL, alongside a clutch of remixes. An opening gambit for Particles saw the release of the intriguingly titled "Ideologue" EP showing his distinctive talents in all their glory while now following up with an immaculate remix of "Restless Wind". Taking Michael A's original work, Nantais has created the foundations of subtle bass groove upon which rich additional melodies have been crafted to create a futuristic soundscape of emotion that further enhances themes inherent in the original work. A delicious rhythm section completes a notable work. A trio of remixes from across the globe has illustrated that Michael A's light continues to shine brightly from "Behind The Moon".
