The Secret Beach - Glenn Poorman live at Interlochen - Chapman Stick - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jan 08, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
From the composer:

"This tune is part of larger "suite" inspired by the area around our house in Leelanau County located in the northwest corner of Michigan's lower peninsula. This particular movement is title "The Secret Beach" and was named after an unmarked Lake Michigan beach I've frequented since I was a little kid. Specifically, the music was inspired by late nights on the beach where you will generally find the local population sitting around bonfires accompanied by their dogs."

Glenn performed this piece at the 2011 Interlochen College of Creative Arts Chapman Stick Workshop. Thanks to Tim Longfellow and Steve Balough for video, and to Matt Wiliford at Interlochen.
