Giuliano Modarelli (Italy) is one of the most interesting musicians to emerge from the world music scene over the last few years. His strong compositional style, studious attitude and unique approach to the acoustic guitar through the application of sarod technique has led to collaborations with masters of Hindustani music, including Grammy award winner, Bickram Ghosh, Paban Das Baul (Real World) and Mercury prize winner, Talvin Singh, as well as work with internationally renowned artists from many other traditions, such as South-African contemporary dancer Gregory Maqoma, Belgian choreographer, Sidi Larbi and Kora maestro Sura Susso.

Sarathy is a percussionist/composer born in the U.S., raised in India and now based in London. Sarathy's background and interest in Hindustani music, jazz and other forms of improvised music have led to him working as a performer,composer and musical director on a variety of theatre, film and dance productions which have been performed at several venues across the UK, Europe and India. Sarathy has collaborated and performed with artists such as Arun Ghosh (clarinet), Shabaka Hutchings (clarinet/saxophone), Pt. Ajay Prasanna (bansuri), Pt. Bhajan Sopori (santoor), Padmashri Pratap Pawar (kathak) amongst others.

The pair met in London while doing the rounds of the vibrant London music scene, instantly forming a unique collaboration resulting in a truly eclectic sound.
