Gesuri est une pièce pour gamelan balinais Gong Kebyar. Composée en 1964 par I Wayan Beratha, cette pièce (dont le nom est un acronyme de GEnta SUari REvolusi Indonesia= Musique et sons de la révolution indonésienne) illustre à merveille le style éclatant et contrasté du gamelan balinais. / Gesuri is a piece for balinese Gong Kebyar. Composed in 1964 by balinese master I Wayan Beratha, "Gesuri" is an acronym for GEnta SUara REvolusi Indonesia ( = Music and Sounds for the Indonesian Revolution). This piece gives a good example of the contrasts between bright, smooth, delicate and thundering, exploding sounds in balinese music.
