When scott's away the boys will play. This is a video of Fox Valley Harvest in what we are calling "backyard sessions". Sometimes you find an old song that you forgot you loved. This is one of those songs. It is called Vermont Song written by Brant Gipson of Fox Valley Harvest. More importantly to note was moving Scott Maruskins living room furniture outside while he was away on vacation. We respect each other that's how we continue to play together after all these years. From right to left we have a newer addition to FVH who has been joining us a lot lately on the fiddle "Matt Opachick" you may have to ask him how to pronounce that. Then of course we have Mark the Fitz Fitzharris on the mandolin, Mark Hixson on the acoustic guitar, Brant Gipson on the banjo "Deering banjo" of course and finally Steve "The Prospector" Frye on the washboard and percussion. We were sadly missed by our good looking bass player Scott " World Traveler " Maruskin. Look for more backyard sessions to continue but with better video quality and maybe nicer furniture.
