J. Rockett Audio Design ANIMAL - "How it sounds in the mix" demo by Giovanni Favuzza - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 29, 2016
DESCRIPTION:
"The Animal is our way of creating a 1968 “Plexi” Sound. The Animal is an extremely open and amp-like sound that can get you from a stock “Plexi” to a modified “Plexi” with the flick of the snarl switch"

Incredible overdrive, control for Volume, Gain, Treble, Bass and the Snarl switch.

With the Snarl switch off the pedal have a very open sound, light distorsion. With the gain roll off il very close to a Klon.
With the Snarl on is very aggressive, but always clear.

On this demo:
Rhythm (panned hard left and hard right)
Custom Tele/Ibanez neck with Seymour Duncan Broadcaster pick up set with the Snarl off, gain at 12, treble at 12, bass 1 and volume at 3
Ibanez SV with Seymour Duncan Custom5 and FullShred set with the Snarl off, gain at 12, bass at 10, treble at 12 volume at 3

For the solo rhythm i use the same eq on the pedal, but with the Snarl on

The amp is a Peavey 6505MH load in a Koch Dummybox Studio with the sim. 1x12, mic off axis

For the solo

1st and 2nd solo always with my SV, and gain, volume at 3, treble at 12, bass at 10. The Snarl switch is on.
Peavey 6505MH clean, same sim. on the Koch Dummybox

3rd solo, the Snarl switch is off, the volume is at 2, the gain at 9, treble at 9-10 and the bass at 12. Here i use the lead channel of the 6505MH and i use the Animal like a boost.
The Lead is a high gain (this amp doesn't know the low gain).
Always the Koch Dummybox studio with the sim. on the 1x12 and mic off axis.
