Hi all, this mix set captures my favourites from Beatport across May and June 2013 with some very new releases in here. This set starts off with another good new one from Mark Knight with his punchy club track "Your Love", only minor pitch and backing changes on this track, I then move into Sean Finn & Gino Montesano's "Sunglasses at Night", running the Pink Fluid remix this time. This track is a good harder club experience with an almost punk feel to the way the synth effects roll of the bassline, but I'd probably get shot for suggesting such a thing. Next up is one of my new favourites in Monsta's "Messiah", a custom remix of mine on this occasion, taking the bassline from Dirty South's remix and working it over. Fading into Sander van Doorn, DubVision, Mako and Mariana Bell's "Into the Light" is an uplift and has a nice trance/vocal feel to it. Some attitude is introduced with Mike Vale feat Stella Mercury performing "Don't give a damn" before closing out with Kings of Tomorrow feat April putting out a very cool new track "Fall for you", with some almost cutesy vocals and a nice uptempo positive feel to it. Sandy Rivera's on the remix this time.

Published as always in FLAC/96khz then downsampled to a H264/AAC 320kbps format in 720p with 1280x720p PNG backgrounds. Wave/MP3 formats are exported to in 320kbps for user requests.

Hardware includes Vestax VCI decks with KORG KP3 pads in-line to a Mackie ProFX8 mixer into Creative Labs AudigyZS Platinum Pro recording to SSD. All running 96/48khz minimum latency. Very low SnR through external breakout box and HQ cabling, careful tuning of sound floor. Software includes VDJ, Ableton live, Cakewalk, Fruity loops, Cooledit Pro, Audition, occasionally Cubase when needed. Numerous other things are used at various times, Mic'd external special FX, the running man FX loop on the mixer, software EQs, manual equalisation is performed, sometimes channel mixing/phase adjustments. You get the picture. Lots of time always goes in. :) Hope you enjoy the result.
