The name matrimia! (in italian means Mamma mia!) is a sicilian expression very used that recalls something of exciting and that leaves incredulous and breathless exactly like their gigs, totally entertaining moments along with sophisticated music.
The founding members are the accordion player Daniele Tesauro and percussionist Giacomo Di Domenico to which are added, bringing ideas and personal backgrounds, the French- Algerian singer Davy Deglave, the guitarist buzukist Gero Pitanza, the charismatic clarinettist Dario Compagna and the bassist programmer and productor Roberto Ferreri.
Their brand new Album, Zivili ("cheers!"), also shows the huge collaboration of Dutch Double bass player Marko Bonarius and violin virtuous, Swiss-Siciliano Larsen Genovese, it collects two years of experiences and touring in Italy, France, Belgium e Greece, showing perfectly the band's capacities by switching in a very natural way dancing and celebratings moments along with smoother ones of music research. Zivili just wanna be a toast to music and life but also wishes an endless dialogue and exchanges of cultures for different people.
