You Wouldn't Know me now (Gerald Crabb cover by Darrel Armstrong) - Video

DESCRIPTION:
This song is about how The Lord can change you! This coming March 17th will be 7 years since The Lord saved me! The person that I was, before coming to Jesus Christ, wasn't a bad person! I never went out causing trouble, drinking, fighting, cussing, stealing, or any of the things that most folks associate with being a sinner, but I was still lost in sin & wasn't at all interested in church! In my mind, I was a pretty good person & felt like that should be good enough to get to Heaven! But one night, I heard my best friend, Trent Underwood, giving a devotional during a break from playing some basketball! One thing he said that really caught my ear was this. He said that there will be a lot of really good, moral people who will spend eternity in Hell because they didn't accept Jesus Christ! That hit me really hard & it stuck in my mind for 2 full years before I finally did something about it! Now after almost 7 years of living a Christian life I can say this! Don't make the mistake of thinking you are either too good or too bad to be saved! Nobody is too good to be saved, nobody is too bad to be saved! There will be people who have done absolutely horrible things in this life, who will spend eternity in Heaven, because at some point they turned their life over to Jesus & let Him turn their life around & then there will be good, moral people who spend eternity in Hell because they didn't choose to accept Christ as their Lord & Savior! The Lord can change you for the better, no matter how good you think you are, he did me! My life immediately changed for the better when I was saved! I'm not the same person I was, anybody who knows me, knows that! You wouldn't be hearing me sing if it wasn't for the Lord changing & emboldening me, I didn't do that until I was saved! This song is my testimony to that! If you'd known me back then, you wouldn't know me now!
