DESCRIPTION:
"Hello Cruel World", it was George Ducas' true ode to one of his musical heroes, Buck Owens. Buck always had such an keen sense of humor in his songwriting. In this song, George follows Buck's lead, and wrote this real tongue-in-cheek honky tonker that's always a winner in Ducas' live show, always a crowd "fave". The video is just as much fun...It was George's first video that wasn't shot in LA; it was actually shot just outside of Nashville, at a little field and farm house about thirty minutes out of town...A little known fact, George actually went to school with the actress in the video, Deena Dill...

I enjoyed the shoot because I actually did a little bit more than just play and sing, and I really dig the effects and treatments we used, which included running the film backwards during some of the segments (that's why some of it looks so interestingly "odd")! - GD
