Geoff Tyson Guitar Demos 1985-1992 - Video

DESCRIPTION:
I found a bunch of old demo tapes recently. I made a little compilation of guitar solos for you. Most of these clips are demos i did between ages 15 and 22 years old. That first one is me at 15, first time in the recording studio. These were recorded on a variety of 4 and 8 and 16 track analog and digital recorders and whateverthefuck 1980's technology.

I played through a classic Ampeg Reverberocket 1x12 amp and Tube-Driver preamp for most of them.

Most people don't know. I had a car accident around 1992 and snapped my neck in a way that i lost a lot of feeling in my left arm.

And while i was recuperating, some cunts broke into my studio and stole all my guitars. Oops.

So that put a bit of a damper on my practice schedule haha.

All this nonsense was during a time when all i could do was to support myself through music production. Gotta do whatcha gotta do. So that determined my path which continues to this day.

My body works fine now. Experimenting with guitar again. Let's see what happens.
