DESCRIPTION:
Sun Kil Moon was formed in 2002 by former Red House Painters frontman Mark Kozelek. The group is comprised of longtime Painters' drummer Anthony Koutsos, drummer Tim Mooney (of American Music Club fame), and bassist Geoff Stanfield (of Black Lab), as well as a string trio from the San Francisco Conservatory.

This track, Gentle Moon, is from their Ghost Of The Great Highway album; an album of such crafted beauty that its just breathtaking from start to finish, and really highlights Mark's amazing vocals and guitar playing.
