According to his bio, neko's good at metal and "digital music". This song (and in general this particular album) highlight that part of his work. While not my favorite song here, it evokes a good scenario/story in my mind (about moving on, maybe?). And while not my favorite album, it's good to remember all the steps that have allowed an artist to grow (... this last statement means go and get/listen to "Hollow Ghost". It's an amazing album)

As for his current activities, he's formed SIAN, a three-piece rock band (think Lyu:Lyu/CIVILIAN for a similar idea), along with bassist Keisuke Higashino and Toru Inoguchi (bassist and drummer of his most recent live line-up). Their first album will be released digitally next week, and in CD format next month, but if you're interested you can check some of that new material in their website.
