DESCRIPTION:
Described by The Guardian as this generation’s “Billy Bragg”, by The Telegraph as a “Whiny, protest singer”, and by the EDL as a “Smelly Lesbian” (how they figured out she was smelly I will never know), Grace Petrie is a performer who wears her beliefs proudly on her sleeve, and I’d have her no other way.

Mixing a simple playing style with witty, passionate lyrics, Grace has been regular at many leftist demonstrations and Pride festivals, has extensively toured with comedians Josie Long and Robin Ince, and has even played the Leftfield stage at Glastonbury several times, by invitation of Billy Bragg. Grace also has the honour of being the only performer whose song has made me shed a tear.
