Alex Gasp (al secolo Alex Gasparotto) è un artista a tutto tondo. Cantante, musicista, compositore, autore, produttore e arrangiatore. La sua storia artistica inizia diversi anni fa con un’avventura discografica che lo lascia insoddisfatto,allora immediatamente capisce che per crescere musicalmente deve cogliere l’essenza madre della musica e così insieme a 2 amici Luciano Santoro (bassista) e Fiamma Cardani (batterista) inizia a suonare e cantare cover in versione unplugged avvicinandosi alla lingua inglese e alle radici della sua cultura musicale. Ancora giovanissimo e determinato a nutrire sempre più la sua vocazione e passione, prende il suo zaino e la sua inseparabile chitarra e comincia a suonare in piccoli pub e per le strade delle varie città europee imbevendosi di cultura musicale europea e tenendosi a stretto contatto con il “sound e le sonorità” che girano nel mercato internazionale per ben 2 anni!

Nel 2013 torna in Italia e assieme ad un’amica chitarrista Roberta Raschelli apre un’accademia musicale: Lizard Varese, in veste di direttore e docente di tecnica vocale; contemporaneamente insegna tecnica vocale e teoria della musica presso l’Accademia DEAS di Milano e canta nel ruolo dello “Stregatto” nel musical “Alice” oltre a essere vocal coach presso varie scuole e studi di registrazione. Lavora anche come compositore per i mercati americano, giapponese e koreano assieme al paroliere Ivan Nossa per colonne sonore e spot pubblicitari. Lavora anche come autore e compositore per i mercati spagnolo e sudamericano assieme al paroliere cubano Santiago Larramendi e anche come compositore di colonne sonore per cortometraggi!
La sua conoscenza artistica e musicale finalmente lo hanno condotto a vivere della sua passione: la musica.

Durante una registrazione nello studio “Il Cortile” viene in contatto con il discografico Pippo Landro della New Music International che dopo aver sentito un po’ di suo materiale lo convince a tentare di nuovo quell’avventura discografica che negli anni passati aveva lasciato in sospeso! “Credo che nessuno in Italia oggi abbia le possibilità di competere con il mercato Internazionale come può fare Alex –afferma Pippo Landro- lui scrive e canta confrontandosi “in modo naturale” col mercato estero.”

TWO STEPS is the debut signle of Alex Gasp on the world market. The challenge is considerable but the quality and the talent of the artist let the New Music International, an independent label that discovers and launches talents for years, totally believe in the project. Alex Gasp (aka Alex Gasparotto) is a complete artist. Singer, musician, composer, author, producer and arranger. His artistic history began serveral years ago when he understands that to grow up musically he must have to grasp the essence of the music, and so with his two friends Luciano Santoro (bassist) and Flame Cardani (drummer) he began playing and singing unplugged cover version closer to the English language and to the roots of his musical culture. Still very young and determined to feed more and more his vocation and passion, he took his backpack and his inseparable guitar and began playing in small pubs and on the streets of several European cities soaking up of European musical culture and keeping in close contact with the "sound and the fellings" that run in the international music scene for over two years! In 2013 he returned to Italy and together with his guitarist friend Roberta Raschelli opens a music academy: Lizard Varese wherehe works as director and professor of vocal technique in addition to being vocal coach at several schools and studios. He also works as a soundtracks and commercials composer for the American, Japanese, Korean, Spanish and South American markets. He is also a composer of soundtracks for short films! Her knowledge of art and music finally led him to live his passion: music.
