Hey! I'm Gary Talley, original (and current)guitarist for the Box Tops from Memphis. Our big hits in the 60's were "The Letter" , "Cry Like A Baby" and "Soul Deep". I live outside of Nashville where I do sessions, gigs, and teach guitar. I'm currently working on an instrumental CD featuring some of the exact same notes that the big stars use !!

My friend and co-writer Richard Fleming and I have a duo called "Memphinati". (That's 'cause he's from Cincinnati and I'm from Egypt). We've got a CD called "The Beat of Love" out on Appaloosa Records.
People tell me I might possibly be THE WORLD'S GREATEST GUITAR TEACHER (next to Esteban)I'm not positive about that, though.hard to tell. One time I taught 2 cows how to play guitar and THEY AIN'T EVEN GOT FINGERS!!!
I have a large dog named Bob. He's in Wyoming now on vacation.
