A rare public glimpse at my uncle Wolfgang Rauball singing Canada's National Anthem "O Canada" at his son Oskar's Graduation Day at Shawnigan Lake School on Vancouver Island in Canada in Summer 2007.

Without doubt one of the finest renditions of Canada`s National Anthem I ever heard !

No wonder that the legendary late Robert Merrill, for decades the leading baritone at New York's Metropolitan Opera and one of the most beautiful voices ever heard on the face of this earth, had told my uncle over and over that in Mr. Merrill's opinion my uncle is "Opera's Best Kept Secret", trying to convince him to come back to New York after my uncle had decided to leave the opera world in 1975 in pursuit of his geological mining profession in Canada where he subsequently made a fortune in discovering several large gold mines.
