Acoustic recording of the Violetta/Alfredo duet from act 1 of "La Traviata". Galli-Curci and Schipa re-recorded this duet and "Parigi O Cara" in 1928. The electricals are wonderful, but the acoustics capture Galli-Curci before her vocal decline really set in. Victor recording, September 17, 1924.
