DESCRIPTION:
Gal Holiday and the Honky Tonk Revue the evening before the 2014 New Orlean's French Quarter Festival played at Chickie Wah Wah's on Canal Street and sang the well known You Are My Sunshine song written by Jimmie Davis and Charles Mitchell in which Vanessa Niemann, and I heard the Louisiana verses for the first time that became famous when Jimmie Davis ran for Louisiana governor in 1944.
