LAINO is voice, Dobro guitar, diddley bow, electrified kalimba and small percussions.

"LAINO & Broken Seeds" (EP) is Laino debut album as a songwriter, where instrumental music and pieces enriched with vocals draw their inspiration from John Mississippi Hurt, Muddy Waters, John Fahey but also Morphine, Tom Waits and Johnny Cash works.

"Broken Seeds" is the band joining him live and through recording sessions; it is composed by Gaetano Alfonsi (drums), Andrea Lamacchia (double bass), Diego Cofone (baritone sax and bass clarinet).

Laino moved to Bologna in 2001 and since then he has been collaborating with musicians, actors and directors on-the-spot.

Most recently he was invited by performer Fabrizio Puglisi to participate in the recording of the soundtrack for "The Long Road to the Hall of Fame" documentary directed by Reda Zine. The documentary is about the figure of Tony King (Malik Farrakhan), former football player and actor and now head of security for the band “Public Enemy.
