DJ duo Future Cut have remixed The Lone Ranger's iconic theme tune, the Geoff Zanelli arrangement of the famous William Tell Overture by Rossini, in homage to Disney's upcoming action adventure The Lone Ranger - released in UK cinemas on August 9th.

"We had a real blast, it was like the Lone Ranger and Tonto in the studio, the two of us throwing ideas around. We decided there were no holds barred so it was like the musical Wild West. We threw a bit of this, some heavy bass lines and that infamous William Tell Overture to create something we absolutely loved. If you thought Rossini couldn't be dance floor then think again!!!" -Future cut

In The Lone Ranger, native American spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) and man of the law John Reid (Armie Hammer) are opposites brought together by fate and must join forces to battle greed and corruption.

Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, a legend of justice -- taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.

The Lone Ranger also stars Tom Wilkinson, William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson and Helena Bonham Carter.

The Lone Ranger will be riding out into UK cinemas when it's released on 9 August 2013.
