Oh Yeah... Now this is some serious funk by drummer Harvey Mason from his 1977 vinyl album (no CD's or MP3's back in those days ;-) Funk In A Mason Jar. This was Harvey Masons 3rd (third) album on Arista and provided him with a commercial breakthrough, reaching the Top 40 on the U.S. R&B charts and the Top 10 on the Jazz charts. The musicians where Verdine White (EW&F), David Foster, Mike Porcaro, Phil Upchurch, Ray Parker Jr., the Tower of Power Horns, Dave Grusin, Louis Johnson (Brothers Johnson), Ronnie Foster, Bob James and Tom Scott.
