Life changes irrevocably, maybe intentionally, maybe not. Our hero in Plastic Nipple is one of those guys. Frankly, he’s just out to get laid. He spots the hottest girl in the club and is pretty sure she’s cosmetically enhanced. He has to find out. Curiosity kills the cat. He feels like a hero as he does find out. Oh no, they’re not real but boy are they fun. “Be careful what you wish it just might come true. Be careful what you do it might come back to you!” In this case, our hero’s life is changed unintentionally and irrevocably. The unintended, irrevocable consequence, he’s now a father. His pursuit of one type of Plastic Nipple had led to his familiarity of another type of Plastic Nipple. Where once he was that just want to have fun and get laid kind of guy, he’s now walking the halls at 3AM, holding his newborn while she enjoys her version of the Plastic Nipple. Perhaps this song stands as a modern day Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner. For all you accidental fathers, “latch on, latch on to the Plastic Nipple!”
