DESCRIPTION:
Fredrick Stanley Star are a five piece 'shanty-folk' collective from various places but based in Cardiff. When combined, their various individual styles evoke a sense of gratefulness for the gifts given them and they both solemnly and joyously endeavour to express this sentiment through their music. This song, Fingertails, is a revamped acoustic version of the closing track of side 1 of Fredrick Stanley Star's debut album 'Heaviside Layer'. Written around a year ago, the song is an excerpt of a three hour long jam that the band recorded during the throws of festive wine drinking.
