Brock Osweiler's highly anticipated return to Denver to face the Boncos on Monday Night Football has me all up in my feelings. When listening to this song you can tell I have a ton of animosity toward Brock for the way he left the Denver Broncos and I'm quite sure their are players that feel betrayed as well. If he left simply because he wanted more money, my disgust for him wouldn't be nearly what it is. It's the fact that he preached, "it's not about me" "my team this, my team that" yet when Peyton Manning (who I believe is the Greatest Quarterback of all time) was brought back in after healing from an INJURY to give the team a spark against San Diego (which worked) he looked miserable in the post game celebration despite the fact that we not only secured a playoff spot but we also clinched a first round bye in the playoffs, and as I said he looked MISERABLE. Reports later surfaced that he didn't give the Broncos an opportunity to match the Texans offer because he no longer wanted to play for Denver since that day. It's not like Brock came in and performed like Dak Prescott either, He finished the season bottom 5 in QBR and was abysmal in the redzone. In fact, 4 empty trips to the redzone cost us a win against the RAIDERS. While he had a couple good quarters as the Broncos quarterback, nothing he did on the field warranted leaving the sherrf on the bench after he was cleared to play. Brock's handling of the situation showed me that he is not a team first guy like his well rehersed rhetoric would lead us to believe, he in fact was a me first guy. The good news is Brock is once again again a bottom 3 quarterback in QBR and aside from one decent quarter against the horrendous defense of the Colts, Brock has looked like an overpaid BUM while Elway has looked like a genius for lowballing him in free agency. I don't know about you but I cant wait to "kill" Brock tonight on Monday Night Football and remind the football world who the best defense in the NFL is!
