Hello all. What can I tell you about myself? I was born and raised in a small town of about 8,000 in northeast pa called Shavertown. Somehow I went from following the grateful dead to country music in my senior year. The dead do a lot of cover country songs so I guess that is not too far fetched. I joined my first real band at about 18 and loved what I was getting into. I then entered the country showdown on my own and did well and got picked up by one of the more popular bands in the area. While that was good times for a couple years I knew I wanted to try to make a living in music and NE Pa wasn’t the place so in 1995 at the age of 23 I made the move to Nashville. I absolutely love this town although there have been some hard times through the years. I wrote a lot the first five years or so and then kind of gave it up for about five years, but thanks to former co writers finding me on my space I got back into it. I was a staff writer with Better Angels Publishing for the past 2 years or so, it was a great experience getting to write and play everyday, i hope a new publishing deal is around the corner for me. I forgot to mention when I first moved to Nashville I picked up a gig at Skulls’ Rainbow Room which then led to a gig at The Fiddle and Steel Guitar Bar which is a great place. The fiddle bar is home to a lot of great players singers and writers and a place where I’ve always felt at home. Even on my nights off I go there instead of any of the other 250 bars and clubs in Nashville.



My strong point in songwriting is melodies and I am looking to fill my schedule with more lyric writers. I am capable of writing both but definitely have found my strong point being melodies. Anyway, that’s all for now.
