Kelly Harland - Somewhere In The City - Video
PUBLISHED:  Aug 02, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
In 1980 and 1981, Charlie Daniels invited Kelly Harland to perform
at Volunteer Jams VI and VII, his annual homecoming concert in
Nashville, Tennessee. This was during The Charlie Daniels Band's
heyday on the charts, and they would assemble a wildly eclectic
mix of acts for these shows. A partial list of the artists Kelly
shared the stage with includes James Brown, Billy Joel,
Carl Perkins, Ted Nugent, Kenny Rogers, Crystal Gayle,
Dickie Betts, Delbert McClinton, Dobie Gray, Papa John
Creach, The Marshall Tucker Band and Molly Hatchet.

The song used for this video is "Somewhere In The City,"
a tune Kelly and I wrote, which she recorded on an album
for Epic Records in 1982.
