DESCRIPTION:
(recorded with my old iPhone!) Christian and I made some videos talking about our adventure playing the magnificent Concert by Chausson.

We want to share with you the process involved from the first time we play the piece to the recording itself... We will record the work in november 2013, with the Spektral Quartet from Chicago, for a release in April (04. 04. 2014). The Album is called "fin de siècle", on the major Warner Classics. It will be released worldwide ... here is the Episode 1: playing the Concert for the 1st time. (Just for fun)

on the Album, you will find the Franck Sonata and the Concert, as well as an unrecorded surprise from Chausson for violin and piano...

P.S. The work is a masterpiece, and we made these videos to feel relieved from our stress. Despite the silly character of the videos, we take the work completely seriously as it is one of the biggest masterpiece in all the chamber music Repertoire and we feel very lucky to play it and record it.
