PUBLISHED:  Feb 24, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
During several years he became part of some cuban groups such as Pucho Lopez (with whom he had the oportunity to visit Spain for the first time, in the 90's) and "La Orquesta Cubana de Musica Moderna" (The Modern Music Cuban Orchestra) group with whom he sang his own themes as well as "feeling" a music movement that was born in Cuba which is a mix between jazz and bolero, and with which they had been having presentations around the country. Finally he gets to Mexico where he decided to settle and begin a Music career there. In 2003, he adopts the Mexican Nationality, obtaining it from President Vicente Fox Quezada himself.

In 1992, Luis Miguel was making the song selection for his new album called "Aries", and he decided to include one of Céspedes songs "Pensar en ti" which became one of the most important songs of that production, begining his phase as a famous song writer. In 1996, Luis Miguel chose another Céspedes song, "Que tú te vas" for his album "Nada es igual".

Pancho is Cuba and Mexico and that's why he decided to make himself a tribute. "Autorretrato" reflects the moments of reflexion that the song writer is living, searching for the things that are really necessary, for him those are: love, family, friends and passion. And that's exactly what he shows in this album.
