Brisbane songstress, Francesca de Valence, writes personal, evocative songs that channel the likes of Carole King, Neil Finn and The Beatles. A graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, she has produced two award-winning EP's and is one hard-working touring artist. A bit of a musical chameleon she has roots in classical and jazz music, but her love of the 'song' wins through in the end. These songs have won her some impressive accolades including a Los Angeles Music Award, and finalist awards in the Qsong and Australian Songwriting Contests. She has worked alongside performers including Belinda Carlisle, Michael Buble and Keith Urban and has played sell-out shows at the Brisbane Festival in addition to touring Berlin and the USA in the last twelve months.
