This is my take on Cake's song "Friend Is A Four Letter Word." It's an instrumental piece like everything else I make, because I can't sing for the life of me. Also the phrase "four letter word" is used when describing a word of foul or offensive nature. For example, "fuck," "shit," "cunt," and such. Sorry for having to type those in front of your oh so delicate and innocent eyes, fellow internet dweller hahaha.

I fell in love with this song as soon as I'd heard it. A Touhou page I'm following on Facebook has an admin who occasionally posts classic rock and heavy metal songs, and I came across the song through a status of theirs. At first I thought "what kind of band calls themselves Cake," but I soon laughed at how eccentric the band must have been. They have vague and somewhat dark themes to their songs, with this strange lighthearted name and relaxed sound to their compositions. I just had to cover something by them. :b

Anyway I hope that you enjoy this cover/arrangement of their song. This is a piece I'd put a ton of effort into despite not even being the composer, and I just thought it sounded pretty even without the vocals and such. Have a nice day, description lurker!
