DESCRIPTION:
Splendid Sound is happy to announce that soundclash is back in Wroclaw! The first edidion of Splendid's own Melting Pot Clash will feature two rising sound systems from the region -- Sensithief from Lublin, Poland and Forward March Posse from Prague, Czech Republic. Both crews, although lacking clash experience, have been looking for a war for some time now and it will be a battlefield in Wroclaw to prove their killing talents.

The idea of this event is to promote soundclash culture in Eastern Europe and to give the sounds a chance to try themselves on the international level. Therefore, the focus of this line up, as well as in the future, is on the crews from the region. The name "Melting Pot' was chosen to underline the local character of the clash by the reference to the peculiar regional mix of cultures unified by similar past. This time the choice was Poland and Czech Rep. but we hope to attract sounds from all over Eastern Europe. Unity as well as competition are keys to development!

Rules: There are 5 rounds:
1st is 15mins, strictly 45s, Guns out
2nd is 15 mins, strictly 45s, Singers
3rd is 10 mins, strictly vinyl 45s
4th is 15 mins, strictly dubplate
5th is Dub fi Dub -- each sound plays 10 tunes

The crowd is the judge. There is only one voting -- after the dfd, the host will, however, ask the crowd who was the winner of each round. In the first 2 rounds ANY format is available.
