Welcome To TROP ROCK MUSIC SHOWCASE's Huge Third Season staring some of the BEST Trop Rock Singer/Songwriters from around the Country with your host Andy Forsyth.

Our Trop Rock Music Showcase shows are going to bring you some great Trop Rock music from various locations around the country. It could be a Parrot Head event, a local music venue or a house concert.

For those not familiar with Trop Rock music... it can be described in general as tropical, island, beach music with a laid back lifestyle feel to it. The singer/songwriters featured in these shows write their own music to what some people might label as Buffett music. But many of these artists have been doing this before it became popular. Their styles can be a little bit of Rock, Country, Folk, Jazz, Blues, Reggae, Island, Hawaiian, you name it, they do it. They also do cover songs as well usually with their own twist to it.

Most of these artists perform at Parrot Head events to help raise money for the PH club charities. Or they may play at venues that support Trop Rock music. We want to share some of the fun with you so if you've never been to one of these events you'll want to find where they are located. Just do a search on the Parrot Heads in Paradise web site to find out www.phip.com . Or go to the singer/songwriters web sites. The web site Trop Rock Songs has many of them listed. www.troprocksongs.com. And once you're there most of them have links to others artists that they are friends with.

We hope you enjoy the shows and we look forward to bringing you some great shows in the coming weeks. Keep in mind that these shows will make you feel like you are right there at the event. Sometimes the scenes may not be perfect but we think you'll still enjoy the music.
