For a Better Truth

For a Better Truth formed in early 2007 when singer Arpan Bhattacherjee (of Fall For Scarlette), guitarist Dustin LaLumandiere and bassist Steve Yang came together again after years of playing and performing music in their former band, My Heart Collapse. Drummer Justin McHugh joined shortly thereafter, and immediately, For a Better Truth began writing new music, drawing their inspiration from a variety of sources ranging from personal experiences to different forms of music. In July of 2007, FABT recorded their soon to be released ten-song debut album, Upon the Shoulders of Giants with Kris Crummett (Dance Gavin Dance, Drop Dead Gorgeous) at Interlace Audio in Oregon. Upon the Shoulders of Giants is a stylistically diverse, impressive first album with evocative lyrics, melodic riffs, vibrating undertones, and a unique sound of raw sophistication.
