Victor Life

Victor Life's first discography experience was in 1982 when, in the "New Romantic" era, he made a song with "Ice Eyes" as an Electro-percussionist it was called "No Sex".
The succes came in 1984 with the synthpop band "Fockewulf 190", with the singles "Body Heat" and "Gitano" known across the world, throughout the "Italo Disco" movement.



After this, he left the music scene for personal reasons although continuing to collaborate with the Fockewulf singer Dario Dell'Aere in "Eagles In the Night" (1985) and with Demode Boulevard in "Height Of The Fighting" (1988)
In The 90's he dedicated his time exclusively to studying esoteric stories of ancient civilisation as well as electronic experimentation in relation to using sound frequencies with the numbers of Kabbalah.



In 2000 he started an artistic collaboration with "Arix studio" in Milan, owned by sound engeneer Arrigo Dubaz.
The newly revived interrest for the electronic sound, took him to produce and arrange the new project of Fockewulf 190.



In 2009 finally the Fockewulf 190 came back on the scene with the
news single EP "Oh Oh Oh", presented live at the Corsica Studios in
London at the Magic Waves Summer Festival,crowded of enthusiastic
old fans of the band.
The show also signs the debut of the new lead singer Arys Noir and
the guitarist Jonny Faith.
Along with them Victor Life produce the new Ep 12'' "The Model,
including 8 tracks dedicated to the romantic and futuristic vision
of the musical estetic of Synth Pop.



In the record shine the collaborations with the minimal electronic
artist Maurizio Piazza, ex collaborator of Franco Battiato in the
70s, and other artits like Alberto Styloo and Fred Ventura.
This was the prelude of the definitive comeback in the underground
european scene of the band.



The new album "Electrum Lux" will be published in 2012, dedicated to
the electronic mysticism and the esoteric, visionary and futuristic
culture of Victor Life.
In march 2011 should be also published the album "Microcosmos",
including archive music such as original demos of the most
misterious period of the band, 82-86, for the famous cult german
label Vynil on Demand.
Those new records will be presented live along Europe with a new
Tour, "The last sound before the apocalypse".



The meaning of the project is the chance of finally doing music free
from the italian provincial politics wich stopped it originally: a
sort of a return to the future, an electronic prayer drived by a
mind enfolded by the magic world of evocations.

La prima esperienza discografica del tastierista VICTOR LIFE risale al 1982, quando in qualità di percussionista elettronico, incise in piena epoca "New Romantic" "NO SEX" con gli ICE EYS
Il successo arriva nel 1984 con la Band di Synth Pop FOCKEWULF 190, grazie ai singoli "BODY HEAT" e "GITANO", conosciuti in tutto il mondo nell'ambito del movimento artistico Italo Disco.
In seguito abbandonò la scena musicale per motivi personali pur collaborando con il cantante Dario Dell'Aere in "Eagles in the night" ( 1985 ) e con i Demodè Boulevard
in " Height of the fighting" ( 1988 ) cover dei famosi Heaven 17.
Negli anni 90's, oltre alla pubblicazione di un paio di Disco-Mix "Techno", sotto mentite spoglie, si dedica esclusivamente agli studi di storia esoterica delle antiche civiltà e alla sperimentazione elettronica intesa come applicazione delle frequenze sonore in relazione alla scienza dei numeri della santa Kabbalah.
Nell'anno 2000 inizia la collaborazione artistica con l'Arix Studio di Milano dell'ingegnere
del suono Arrigo Dubaz, in qualità di compositore.
Il ritorno d'interesse verso il synth pop ed una rinnovata ispirazione, lo convincono a produrre un nuovo progetto musicale per i Fockewulf 190 che vede ancora Dario Dell'Aere alla voce, e Markus Moonlite, che già aveva collaborato in alcuni progetti precedenti, nella veste di paroliere. Il 2009 segna finalmente il ritorno dei Fockewulf 190 con un nuovo singolo EP " Oh Oh Oh " ( 4 tracce ) che viene presentato al Corsica Studios di Londra per il Magic Waves Summer Festival , tra l'entusiasmo dei vecchi fans della band . L'evento Live segna anche il debutto nel gruppo della nuova cantante ARYS NOIR e del chitarrista JONNY FAITH, con i quali Victor Life produce il nuovo Singolo EP 12" " THE MODEL " contenente 8 Tracce dedicate alla visione romantica e futurista dell'estetica musicale del Synth Pop. Nel disco spicca la partecipazione dell Minimalista elettronico MAURIZIO PIAZZA ex collaboratore di Franco Battiato negli anni 70s', e con altri artisti come ALBERTO STYLOO E FRED VENTURA. E' questo il preludio al definitivo rientro sulle scene dell'underground europeo della band, che prevede l'uscita del nuovo album " ELECTRUM LUX " nel 2011, dedicato al misticismo elettronico e alla cultura esoterica visionaria e futurista di Victor Life. Sempre nel Marzo del 2011 è prevista anche l'uscita dell'album " Microcosmos " contenente musica di archivio con demo originali del periodo più misterioso del gruppo 82-86, per la famosa etichetta di culto tedesca vinyl-on-demand. Queste nuove uscite discografiche porteranno la Band dal vivo in diverse parti d'europa con il nuovo tour dal titolo " THE LAST SOUND BEFORE THE APOCALYPSE " Il senso del progetto è dato dalla possibilità di proporre finalmente musica svincolata dalle logiche provinciali italiane che lo hanno tenuto fermo ai blocchi di partenza: una sorta di ritorno al futuro, una preghiera elettronica sospinta da una mente avvolta dal magico mondo delle evocazioni.
L' immagine di Victor Life, vissuta dall'artista come un riflesso di una personale spiritualità, appare in perfetta sintonia con la tematica teatrale e mimica prodotta nelle performance "On stage" dei Fockewulf 190.
