"Colorado" written by band guitarist, Rick Roberts, was recorded by the Flying Burrito Brothers for their third album, The Flying Burrito Brothers, on A&M records released in June 1971 after the departure of Gram Parsons. The song and album are available on CD as part of Hot Burritos! The Flying Burrito Bros. Anthology 1969-1972 on Interscope Records. Album personnel include Rick Roberts: vocals, rhythm guitar, Chris Hillman: vocals, bass, Sneaky Pete Kleinow: pedal steel guitar, Bernie Leadon: vocals, guitars, banjo, and Michael Clarke: drums.
