DESCRIPTION:
Official video for The Flowers Of Hell's Opus 66 (Part 1), based on the work of Aubrey Beardsley, created by the animation program at Durham College. The track comes from our 2009 Come Hell Or High Water LP which is part of the 2020 Beardsley exhibition at the Tate Britain and Paris's Musee d'Orsay.

Musicians on this one include Will Carruthers on bass (Spacemen 3, Spiritualized, Brian Jonestown Massacre), Abi Fry on viola (British Sea Power, Bat For Lashes), Mel Draisey on violin (The Clientele, Le Volume Courbe), Julie Penner (Broken Social Scene, Do Make Say Think), and Ray Dickaty (former Spiritualized sax palyer).

We're a trans-Atlantic experimental indie orchestra based in Toronto and London, and somehow over our 15+ years we've gotten the praise of many of our musical heros including The Velvet Underground's Lou Reed, Spacemen 3's Sonic Boom, and My Bloody Valentine's Kevin Shields.
