DESCRIPTION:
Whit Friday Brass Band Competition (2014), Denshaw, Saddleworth, England.

One of the many villages in Saddleworth and Tameside taking part in this historic Brass Band competition. Many thanks to the international bands that added a special delight to the occasion.

Special mention to the "Orange People" of Huddersfield University Brass Band who were carrying before them their framed "Guinness World Record". The 31-strong marching band completed the London Marathon in 6:56:44, raising more than £50,000 for charity in the process! They are always on the lookout for more sponsorship ..... especially from Huddersfield based trombone makers ;) Over 60 Bands took part at this one venue!! The results are as follows:
