"I hate how nowadays music is so generic and as long as your recording tracks that will sell well as ring tones, labels are willing to invest money into your so-called talent, believing it as what consumers really want. How its all about record and album sales and no longer about the pure passion and love of it like it used to be. Myself personally, I'd rather starve first before I EVER let anyone dictate and tell me exactly how and what to write when creating my music. Any artist who is willing to compromise art for sales, In my eyes is nowhere near a real artist. If you're not willing to grind it out then you shouldn't be doing it in the first place."

Music will always and foremost be my first love, Im African so my heart will always be in it.Photography,Graphic design and drawing are past times but just as important to me.



Flame Lilly is currently in the midst of working on her first debut album which is to be released at a later date (pending) whilst collaborating with many artists from all around locally & across the globe mix tapes and album features, with most already completed and under her belt she knows its only a matter of time. "I believe in Determination, hard work & perseverance but without forgetting the big man upstairs only through those can we achieve." I am my own individual and people who know me wouldn't say I'm your every day round the way kinda girl but I am very down to earth and generally love the simple things in life- I Live for my family and have great love for my friends.



Overall im just a girl tryna do what I love and make something out of it, mainly just to hear someone else sing one of my melodies or even just bump along to one of my tracks- because to me thats one of the greatest feelings in the world.
