Five Alarm Funk is a horn powered, percussion fuelled sonic and visual assault. For more than six years the band has brought their relentless and unforgettable live show to clubs and major festivals across Canada and the United States.

I couldn't find a place to shoot unobstructed at the completely packed and rocking Rickshaw last night, so I asked to go 'backstage' and ended up over the stage with a great vantage. They blew the doors off the place for their album release last night and are in the midst of a tour to support it (NW USA, cross Canada). If they're coming to your town, make sure you grab some friends and go see them!
