DESCRIPTION: Lee Hammons Johnny Booger take 2. I decided to re-record this with more emphasis on the bass note in the second half of the tune. The tuning is gCGCD. The banjo is a Gold Tone BC 350+ with a ZeroGlide nut. This version of Johnny Booger seems related to the Johnny Booker/Johnny Boker family of tunes with minstrel precedence.
