Jim Miller was a genuine treasure of a man: a superb, unique bass player, and one of the kindest and most warm hearted individuals to be found anywhere. His passing is a huge loss for the human community, and to the Portland, Oregon music scene in particular. His latest endeavor and brainchild ---"Golden Harvest Music"--- was a testimony to his generosity and kindness.
