DESCRIPTION:
Rolling hills, crystal clear water, gorgeous melodies and farmers working hard in the countryside. Think I just described China? Think again! Actually, this band is Chinese - but they play a style of music that comes from Ireland!
Six students of music at the Beijing Academy of Contemporary Music make up this fascinating band. Blending traditional Chinese styles with Irish folk music and jazz, the sounds of The Clover Youth are definitely unlike anything you have ever heard before. The playing of the Irish flute will carry you away to the rolling green hills of Ireland.
