WHEN ROCK "SOUNDS ITALIAN"
"The "luminescence" is a physical phenomenon which occurs in nature, when certain materials emit light in response to an external stimulus. Using this term as the title for an album is to feel the need to convey something, a demand that has pushed Migaso to take up his guitar and compose ten new songs. Four years after his first album, this young musician from Calabria is back to work, this time accompanied by the BRIGANTI, a backing band made up of bassist Nicolas Borg, drummer Benjamin Corbeil and keyboardist Matthieu Lesenechal.

The result of this collaboration is a rock album in the purest sense of the word: distorted guitars, driving rhythms and lyrics angry but with romantic shades. "Luminescenza" is an impact record, with songs that strike directly to the stomach without going first through the head. While remaining within a classic rock structure, Migaso has managed to achieve an original work, with processed sounds and different tonalities. His Telecaster guitar can range between a solid and firm rhythmic virtuosity that are very reminiscent of the atmosphere of the 70's rock.

Luminescenza is also enhanced by the presence of Norbert Krief, the historic guitarist of Trust, duetting together with Migaso in Libero!, one of the most extreme tracks on the album.

The songs are all in Italian, a stylistic choice that is strongly influenced by the origins of the singer / guitarist. The piece Il Brigante, in particular, is a readjustment in a rock key of an ancient Sicilian folk song."
